Hi, Im trying to install SupportAssistx64-2.2.0.253.msi, but when I do it says UI mode not supported. I have tried going to properties and then compability and putting it to an earlier windows. But it still doesnt work, if you have a solution to this problem then please help me, thank you. 'Installer User Interface Mode Not Supported. The installer cannot run in this UI mode. To Specify the interface mode, use teh -i command line option, followed by the UI mode identifier. This error is thrown from the InstallAnywhere installation software that SilkTest uses. There are a number of reasons why this error can occur:

1. If the Windows Username under which the installtion is running contains special characters e.g. ! or #
2. If the path where the install package is saved contains special characters.
3. If the user does not have local administrator privileges on the machine.

Resolution:

To resolve the issues you should check the reasons stated and if any apply then resolve as follows:

1. Create a new user with a username that does not contain special characters with local administrative privileges
2. Move the installation package to a simpler location e.g. C:temp. Also when prompted extract the installation files to a simple location.
3. Ensure that the user has local administrative privileges for the machine itself
