Once you reach level 110 in World of Warcraft Legion, a world of new possibilities opens up. Here are some of the best things you can pursue after reaching the WoW level cap.

The Nightfallen[edit]

Reputation with the Nightfallen is very important. There are various reputation rewards, but more importantly there are two dungeons tied to Nightfallen reputation. Upon reaching level 110 players will automatically receive a quest prompt from Khadgar called “Khadgar’s Discovery”. This quest will be the first of many you will do for the Nightfallen. It is important to note that the Nightfallen make use of “Ancient Mana” as a currency and the progression of several quest chains will require spending quite a bit of it.

Beyond Ancient Mana your progress and access to quests for the nightfallen will be controlled by your reputation level. In the beginning you can only follow the quests that are available to you. Doing all of these mandatory quest will leave you somewhere in the friendly tier, and also unlock several NPC’s that will live in the main hub of Suramar which is Shal’Aran. At this point you will need to start building up your rep via world quests and feeding different NPC’s living in Shal’Aran 50x Ancient Mana. You will also unlock a quest called 'Withered Army Training' which is a bit of a dungeon crawling mini game (available once ever three days). If you want to build up your rep it is imperative that you do the Nightfallen world quests every day. Basically the sooner you get your rep up the faster you’ll be able to raise it because you will have access to more quests and more rep opportunities.

This level scores you a toy that can teleport you to Shal’Aran once every 20 hours, a cloth belt ilvl 820, a shoulder enchant that allows you to find Mana-Tinged packs that contain Ancient Mana, Enchanting mats or both- and of course another quest chain. Reaching 8000/12000 rep towards revered unlocks another quest chain that will grant you access to more world quests and two mythic dungeons: Court of Stars and The Archway.

Revered Grants you access to an ilvl 840 neck piece, a cosmetic toy, a pet, and yet another quest chain. Reaching 7000 rep into revered also unlocks a raid quest to kill Xavius in The Emerald Nightmare.

Earns players The Nightfallen Tabard, several profession recipes, and the class hall set shoulders ilvl 850.

World Quests[edit]

World quests are a new take on the old idea of dailies in WoW. Every day players at max level who have completed Khadgar’s quest “Uniting the Isles” will have access to new world quests all over the Shattered Isles. Each day one faction will task the player with completing four of their respective world quests. These “Emissary Quests” can be tracked in the world map.

World quests are the best way to raise rep with the various factions of Legion and the reward from doing Emissary Quests can even net players a legendary item.

Legendary items notwithstanding world quests are a great way to get gear in general- every reward has a chance to be warforged or titanforged increasing ilvls further Emissary reward

Class Campaign[edit]

While every class has a unique campaign there are some important similarities to keep in mind. If you didn’t check back into your class hall while leveling you might be in for a time sink at 110.

For every class there are 9 follower quests that take from 8-24 hours depending on if your followers counter them appropriately- at a minimum this is 72 hours worth of follower quests (although it is possible to tackle two at a time at some points if you have enough followers).Completing all of the Class Campaign will unlock a class specific title along with the critically important third relic slot in your artifact weapons.

Dungeons[edit]

Dungeons are a great way to spend time in WoW and improve your character while doing so. When you first hit 110 your goal should be to improve your ilvl. Get near ilvl 830 and make your own groups. ilvl is not as important in mythics as people seem to believe. As long as you pay attention and mind all of the mechanics a boss fight pits against you, you can easily be an asset to any mythic group. Someone with a high ilvl that stands in fire will always be more of a burden than someone with low ilvl that knows what they’re doing.

Artifact Research[edit]

Stay on top of your research! The faster you research the more artifact power you will receive. When you hit 110 the quest “Hitting the Books” unlocks in your class hall allowing you to research ways to get more artifact power. It’s 500 resources per tier and you can que up two. Each order takes 4 days to complete.

There are 25 levels of research that end with a 24,900% increase in artifact power gains. This research effects artifact power increasing items as you find them- so there is no reason to stockpile items until you unlock a new tier of research. Congratulations on hitting 110! The game starts here.
